Say hello to our new Bamboo Dish Brush! This beauty is the latest edition to our eco-friendly, plastic-free kitchen essentials. Super firm, scrubby bristles are amazing for tough washing up and it works really well as a vegetable brush too!

Made from sustainably sourced bamboo and cornstarch, it's 100% plastic-free. To help you cut down on the waste even more, we offer replaceable brush heads! So, when the brush head starts to look a little worse for wear, you can just pop on a new one. The brush heads are made from bamboo with cornstarch bristles so they can be popped into a compost bin (I'd keep these out of your food waste bin though)

How much waste do our sponges produce? None! If you're going to make one eco-kitchen swap, it would have to be the None Sponge.  Our classic None Sponge has had an upgrade: now with an organic cotton outer and a compressed cellulose core. The compressed core means a much smaller product footprint, and as it is foaming, you'll use less washing up liquid too. 

This sponge has a smooth cotton side and a scrubbier mesh side which tackles more stubborn washing up. 

Unlike other reusable sponges, our sponge is 100% plastic-free and biodegradable. Our sponges are made to last but when they finally need replacing, just cut it up and compost it!

Swap out your plastic, disposable dish cloths for our Cotton Dish Cloths. They're super useful around the house as a washing up dish cloth, kitchen towel or just general purpose cleaning. They're made from a blend of GOTS certified organic cotton and uncertified cotton and they're 100% biodegradable and suitable for home composting. Our dish cloths are machine washable, durable and made to last.

The waffle cotton is super absorbent and it gets even more absorbent the more you use and wash them. So, they just keep getting better and better!

A great way to cut out even more plastic whilst washing up is getting liquid refills; it saves you from buying a new plastic bottle each time and it is actually A LOT cheaper too! Your local zero-waste shop will definitely offer these refills but if you're not lucky enough to have one near you (yet!) then local health food shops often offer refills. Failing that, some mainstream supermarkets are starting to offer refillable products...result!

Another plastic-free washing up option are dish soap blocks. They work in essentially the same way as a regular soap block apart from you rub either your brush or sponge on the block to form a lather, then use like normal on your dishes. They're often made from eco-friendly, natural ingredients and come in plastic free packaging (or even no packaging at all!) so they're definitely worth a try.
